There is a systemic and fundamental *lack* of understanding concerning the ramifications of historys effects and influence on black people. Every time I hear a discussion about black on black crime or the state of black Americans, it is without an accurate historical perspective. It lacks a fundamental understanding of how the African American came to be. Black folk pointing fingers at other black folk saying the problems black folk experience-poverty, crime, injustice-is because of black folks behavior, and not as a direct result of the prejudice and bigotry of post and pre-slave history does so in profound ignorance and such statements are spit in the eye of Causality. We black folk did not cause our current economic and environmental predicament. It is said that black folk enslaved themselves and sold themselves into slavery. Well who benefited *then* and who benefits *now*? No person partaking of the fruits of slavery is willing to exchange their current lifestyle for an egalitarian one in which everyone has their basic and fundamental needs taken care of, i.e. no cost of living. But the most callous, uninformed and indifferent thing for one black person to say to another black person suffering economic, judicial and social disparity is its your own fault for, essentially, not being a productive citizen: Bill Cosbied. Then you have these little song and dances that get presented to the pubic when tension rise and emotions flare up over controversial topics. Feel good pats on the head that imply something is being done because *these* important people are on tv talking about it. It happened with Trayvon Martin. Plenty of talk by both blacks and whites about action. Some even took action and organized. But for these business suit wearing, dolled up, slick looking commentators, it is all talk. It is only talk. It is their *job* to talk so talk is the only thing it can be. Think of it as a kind of art, a la Sun Tzu. Yes, people. You have been severely conned. These are sleights of hand; red herrings. Your modern day house slaves hand-washing and hand-wringing at the field slaves to keep calm and bide their time. Yalls gon spoil it for us. Wes got bills to pay too. Sames you. The only thing that could be done *has* been done. A culmination of events will conclude in *forced* change purely by virtue of the inability of the system to sustain itself as more and more of the walking dead wake up in droves. That being said, the following four hours is almost a complete waste of time. I post it here as an epitome of Albert Einsteins insanity.
