There is something deeply sinister about idolising someone and wanting to be like them, it points to a serious lack of self worth. On the flip side of that coin are the people that demonise individuals and try and destroy them, often from the safely of a keypad. Same disease, different ends of the spectrum. And it can end up killing people. If you spend all of your time wishing you were something different, being jealous of what others have, you are not spending that time actually looking at yourself and developing your own character and dreams. Its important to have good people around to inspire you and strengthen you, people that have weathered the storms of life and make it their mission to help not hinder. My mentors are those that have stood firm despite the odds, despite their mistakes and failures. Success is about character and perseverance, being the best YOU you can be. Health, wealth, education, vocation, relationships... Where you go is up to you. But stop wasting time worrying about what others are doing. Put that energy into your own personal change!
