“There was a girl in our region named Kristina who came from a very poor background. Her father had been missing for many years, and her mother had recently died from cancer. She had gone to live with her Aunt and grandmother along with her twin sisters. We invited Kristina and her sisters to our shoebox distribution. When they opened their gifts, the girls shouted with joy. They said they had never received such wonderful gifts in their lives. The shoeboxes inspired them very much. They were touched by the fact that someone from faraway showed them love. They began to come to our church regularly after the distribution. We thank God that gifts help children come nearer to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” - OCC Volunteer Abkhazia
