There were signs of improvement in the second half of last Saturdays match so hopefully Renfrew FC can build on that when we host Lesmahagow today at Western Park. A win is a must, as with every game in this division, but the fact that we have already won against todays opponents on their own ground should give the team a bit of confidence. Next week Renfrew travel through to play Tayport in the Scottish Cup 2nd round match. Kick off 2:30pm. In Youth football, weather permitting, the 1998s are at Johnstone Utd, the 1999s are at Erskine Utd, the 2000s host Broomhill SC City and the 2001s host Erskine YFC. These are all League matches and the website has kick off times as well as fixtures, results and tables for all teams. If anyone is interested in seeing how we are trying to move forward as a club, there is a friendly match at Western Park tomorrow between Renfrew FC 1998s and Renfrew FC Ladies. Kick off is 2pm, and entry is free. Its all about welcoming the different teams to the club and trying to build some bridges, so if anyone wants to pop their head in and have a look, then youre more than welcome.
