Therefore I urge you, imitate me. (I Corinthians 4:16 NKJV) Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. (I Corinthians 11:1 NKJV) And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. (I Thessalonians 1:6, 7 NKJV) In each of the above scriptures the Apostle Paul is telling people to imitate him as he is a good example of Christ. Thought for today...could you say the same thing to people that know you are a believer and are watching you? What would another Christian be able imitate in your life? Our goal should be to be the best example of Christ that we can be, so that if we are accused of being a Christian there would be ample evidence to convict us.
