Theres nothing in the world quite like the feeling of holding a new born baby in your arms. My eldest son Kevin was born on the 20th June 1975 and my second son Martin was born on the 10th February 1978. The emotion of holding a child, your child, just after birthis so surreal. This song is about those two occasions which was repeated for me on the 22nd June 2009 when my first granddaughter Amarissa Jane was born. I love you all. The title of the song Cold Wind Blowing is a reference to my dear mother who was buried on a bitterly cold day on the 9th February 1978 when, after her funeral, I rushed to the hospital for Martins birth later that evening.
