Theres something magical that people just crave that has to do with giving to others and making it a surprise. I think its that theres so much damn suffering in this world that if we have the power to fight it, if we have a chance to stick a bit of light into the darkness, we want to take it, but when its a *bonus*, unexpected, not budgeted for , not planned for, something truly refreshing happens.
