They almost killed me with the flu shot when I was in college! Not only am I allergic to Penicillin and Sulfa, Im also allergic to eggs. And, every Joe Blow in every pharmacy in Alabama tries to convince me to get one while Im in there grabbing loose leaf paper and nail polish. I try to explain that I CANT and the minimum wage cashier with NO medical training whatsoever tries to tell me that Im wrong, that flu shots dont HAVE those things, and that Im making a huge mistake, and putting my whole community at risk. If I were suicidal, Id DO it, just to watch their dumb little faces when I proceed to turn into Rocky Balboa and stop breathing... Thanks for the article, Kim Zimmer Boruty! Im thinking of printing it out and giving it to the dingdongs that try to push it on me over, and over, and over!
