They cannot tell the Christian anything. They can only ban what we tolerate through compromise. If it violates the Word, Way, or Conscience of the believer, the believer must obey God not men. . We have just come to a point where it is bold to do such a simple thing, because when the gospel is preached it is rarely preached bold enough to call them to count the cost at the beginning instead of the midst of it. A dangerous and unbiblical pattern. . Jesus has always called them and us to count the cost, or to make public stand or declaration at the beginning. For we are called to be set apart. Having counted the cost. . For Jesus made it clear. . . . He must have preeminence in relationships, even the closest of them, from the very beginning. He must be our treasure for where it is there will be our hearts also, to build a tower had great financial cost. He must have full trust and allegiance and set forth to follow Him knowing we enter a war, and many times the sacrifice of war is life itself. He must be our first love, willing at a moments notice to leave and forsake all. we were not called to be Christians not even believers, but to believe. But foremost the call went out to those who would be disciples! And its is as simple as count the cost and follow Him. And the decision in those day, came with no fence to sit upon, but was either Yes or No! . Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it-- lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, This man began to build and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:25-33) . And on a far lower authority or note. Even constitutionally, going to school does not mean one loses ones rights to free speech, nor their faith or right to practice thereof. . PC is not the law of the land nor should it be allowed to continue to dictate as if it is. Stand up Christians! And be doers of the Word. Not as jerks and rebellious, but as faithful and true to the Lord. . . . . . .
