They said they liked my music and they didnt mean to rob me,but thats how life is now ( bandits tell Isaac Blackman while robbing him). I remember back in 1986,two English record industry men came to Trinidad to experience for themselves,the place where I created my music so as to better understand how to market me. They ventured out of the hilton and ended up in Pelican Inn. On leaving the pelly welly,they were held up by bandits ,right in front of the St Anns entrance to the PM and presidents residences. After taking everything they had the bandits made off. Suddenly one of them turned around and said Nah,allyuh hol dat back . It was a cassette ( remember them?) of my Haiti album that was just taken from them.
