They say alls fair in love and war. I think life is made up mostly of different manifestations of that love/war dichotomy, loosely or literally interpreted: family time/work time: spiritual realm/ material realm... The at times unfair bit of life i think is; to whom youre born, and in what health, and where, at what time period (pretty glad not to have been born during slavery in the American South- tho some slaves bought their freedom or escaped). The rest is fair game, we all have a tremendous opportunity in this life. Most of the people you encounter are practice dummies for the real people you will live and build with, and many situations are just a dress rehearsal no matter how treacherous. Dont take things too personally, forgive and forget, dont hold grudges; ultimately most people are self interested and sure you may be a momentary stepping stone for some, or a driver, or the guy who used to buy all the drinks lol... Practice makes perfect. Just always strive to be your best so that come Game Day: You light up the park like Tom Brady. The rest as they say will be history.
