Things I have learned in the last 18 months: *Being consistent - TopicsExpress

Things I have learned in the last 18 months: *Being consistent is key! *Think of food to live not as a reward *Eating clean is 80% of the equation, exercise is 20% *Shop mainly from the perimeter of the grocery store. I buy old fashioned oats and peanut butter (use sparingly) *Eat 5-6 small meals a day with protein as the center of the meal (at least 4oz) *Lifting weights will NOT make you bulky or look like a man *Read and absorb everything you can on health, clean eating and workouts *Dont let anyone tell you you cant do something *Have a cheat meal, not a cheat day. Eat something you have been craving and then get back on track. One meal will not make you fat just as one meal will not make you thin. *Get more sleep! I have a hard time with this one, but it is very important. A body needs to rebuild and heal. Rest will do that.
