Things Ive heard from friends/coworkers within the past 2 days: - Republicans in congress are doing their job- blocking everything obama tries to do (wait, thats their job? I must have missed the memo) - interesting how disinterested I am (in the scottish vote... no matter the outcome) - miller lite is the best beer they have at this bar (when choices include green line, a number of revolution brewery items, sams oktoberfest, guinness, red hook pumpkin porter, etc) - (and surprisingly enough, I havent heard this next line in a month, but still worth note) women are what we sleep with after the gig, not what we work with during. ::grumble:: luckily, Ive had other friends counter that [expletive deleted] with fantastic comments such as: - wanted you to know you are one of the few people that gives me hope in the human race - a girl whose every bit and piece is beautiful and magical and sharp as pumpkin spice on a crisp autumn day. To all of your wondrous multitudes, and all the joy and smiles they bring to this world. - (and then theres just the outpouring of love I received from you all yesterday... which was amazing) so.... thanks for those of you whose compassion, love, and awesomeness/silliness/geekyness combat those who make me a little more sad with the world..... youre winning!! keep it up!
