Thinking Aloud ============ Just had a burst pipe and whole house is flooded. Waited 3 hours and still waiting for plumber to come. My thoughts:- 1. Being single is tough. Everything from A to Z is my responsibility. From taking care of the house, 3 dogs, myself, my job, my valued clients.... Its all Me. Lots times I envy those ladies of leisure, with good husbands to help shoulder problems, give moral and financial support. Lucky ladies! 2. Having no siblings or family support means I need good friends. Friends who lift me up, push me forward, encourage me, stand by me. Thats why I choose my friends so carefully....quality over quantity. Its not easy to be my friend...I give of much of myself, and in return, I dont suffer fools gladly. Or toxic people who such the spirit out of me. I havent much strength to spare. 3. This is the reason too, I do not believe in soppy love and lust. Relationships drain me, Im happier on my own and answerable to Noone. Until and unless I find someone whos mature emotionally and is a nurturing source, not a draining responsibility. 4. This is the reason I work so hard and passionately at a job I love. I help mostly ladies - single/divorced/self supporting. I understand their worries and problems as they are exactly same as me. For example, to fix this horrible broken water tank and burst pipe will cost me a few thousand dollars. Life is tough for single persons. Who do I turn to? Me. What if I dont have spare? Work harder and make sure I have some emergency funds. Again and again, my posts on Facebook are about financial matters. How to earn extra and be prepared for emergencies. Love? Love doesnt pay bills. No time for love and mushy stuff. Likewise, Im not afraid to work hard and honest. Lots of times, I appeal for new staff who can grow themselves and grow me at the same time. Together we work for financial independence. As much as I love helping others, especially ladies, I pray the Lord will help me too. And bring me new clients to work for. You have my 150% total commitment for your success and growth. For only if you succeed and achieve your objective, only then can I feel I deserve every single cent I earn through my hard work. Strengthen me, Lord. Thankyou. Amen
