Thinking of getting a guitar at Christmas. I used to play electric but always made it sound acoustic with a special effect on a Roland Amp and so I traded the Electric in for an actual acoustic and then gave up playing cause I didnt like the acoustic guitar. Im thinking of the micro cube Roland Amp again and a cheap starter electric guitar. Any recommendations on an ok cheap guitar? Are the lower end Yamahas ok or Squier? I had a no name brand strat copy the first time around that I loved. It was Humbucker, Single coil, single coil. I liked that although one of the single coils had a lot of hum(Hence the humbucker I guess). Not sure if Id want a fake strat or a fake telecaster though. Cant quite get the difference.
