Thinking seriously about unfriending people who seldom have - TopicsExpress

Thinking seriously about unfriending people who seldom have anything nice to say, those whose comments are mostly sarcastic and/or argumentative, who get caught up in drama, those who post only woe-is-me stories, who post the F-bomb like no one else reads their stuff; and then changing my view settings from Public to Friends Only. But then, it may just be my perception of their comments, which due to the very nature of text, is void of verbal inflection, facial expression and body language. But that would tend to make me close-minded and a censor. Facebook is not Never-Never Land. I guess having friends with a diverse nature is a good thing. It keeps things real. I have learned not to shoot back like-minded comments to their comments b/c you can never win an argument on Facebook. I guess if I really have a problem with them, Id call and wed talk and Id find out that its not really all that bad. Everybody has their opinion and I am not affected by their opinions. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one. One thing that does surprise me though. The people who follow me, as evidenced by some of the responses that I get when I post something that they take as controversial. I guess I just talked myself out of it. Nuff said.
