But, in his self-aware, ironic fashion he managed to offend another group of people. Is the outrage uncalled for? Is it just a group of people who dont understand satire? Colbert wont actually get cancelled and the Redskins probably wont change their name, but maybe... just maybe this will result in a shift in popular culture that is more genuine than ironic.
