This Orange Tabby literally walked through our front door earlier this week and decided to adopt us. We quickly fell in love with him and went to the Vet today to make sure he didnt have a chip in him and/or belonged to someone else. They have a chip detector and it was confirmed that this little guy has one. They told us that they have to contact the rightful owner to see if they want him back. I dont know if I can convey the sinking feeling in my stomach stemmed from my desire to keep him but I was uneasy at best. We waited a few minutes with our buddy in order to find out are fate. As much as we all love this kitty we would never want to take away someone elses family member. After a few minutes, the doctor returned and gave us great news. They had contacted the owner and they decided that he would be happier in our home rather than theirs. We all were overwhelmed with joy and this Golden Boy is now part of our family. His name is Hunter and here is three reasons why. First, this cat literally hunted us down and in conjunction with being a San Francisco Giants family makes this perfect sense. Next, this cat absolutely loves to climb fences just like our great Hunter Pence does. Lastly, this cat will be one of the emotional and spiritual leaders of the Vorsatz family so its a perfect fit as we all know Hunter Pence has been one for our Giants. He was known as Jordan before but now will forever be called Hunter for the rest of his days. Thanks for choosing us!! Welcome Home, Hunter Vorsatz!!
