I encouraged parents on this site to build a relationship with the faculty in the schools and volunteer because I had always had a positive experience in our school district. Some of the people on thus forum said there was a division between parents and the administration. I had never encountered this type of situation until this year. This is a real EYE OPENER for me. Even though I am still hesitant about the administrative part of charter schools, I now understand why there needs to be an option for your childs education. I am so sorry that we have this going on in our school system. You are right. They truly do not want to change. I am truly and humbly sorry that I encouraged any of you to reach out and try again.
