This afternoon we met the president of Kenya Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta at State House for 3 hours to discuss Narok County and specifically the removal of Mr. Tunai due to gross violation of his office and the law. The president requested for a 2 week Moratorium/ ceasefire for him to immediately initiate the process. The President immediately directed state house to set up an independent investigation as provided by article 192 of the constitution of Kenya, which will also be made up of our representatives. On or before the 22nd of December 2014 executive action will be taken to save the people of Narok. We have chosen to respect the rule of law in order to achieve our goal. There will be several peaceful constituencies meetings, which will be held from Monday 8th 2014 to sensitize the community on the outcome of todays meeting ... All meeting ha continue as scheduled.
