This breaks my heart and enrages me to no end, although I cant say Im surprised. This is what we can expect over and over with multinational corporations running the government. Job creators my a&&. Who has the money to really fight them anymore? Oh well - be sure to buy lots of Roundup when youre making your lawns look beautiful this spring (be sure all your seeds have ties to the big guys too). Thats the best way to let these wonderful job creators know were really behind what they are doing! But seriously, I wonder what would happen if everyone just stopped buying their crap? It has been proven that our government is not going to protect us, and the agencies that were supposedly put in place to regulate abuses of the little guy all have foxes watching the proverbial hen house. ALL OF THEM!!! You can blame Obama all you want, but our beloved George Sr. (yeah, I voted for him too) appointed former Monsanto attorney Clarence Thomas to the supreme court where, again and again, they have been awarded the power to just run the little guy over, and really got the ball moving. Just for kicks, Im including a video clip of him at Monsanto headquarters (back when he was Reagans VP) telling them not to worry about pesky testing regulations that are holding them back, because theyre in the de-reg business. Just to be fair, Ill include a clip of Obama campaigning on the promise to label GMOs. And this, my friends, is one of the many reasons I refuse to be affiliated with either party. This is what goes on behind the scenes with both parties in lockstep while they keep us distracted and divided with petty culture wars.
