This building was a gas station and garage owned and operated by my wifes grandfather Thomas Tarleton Sr in the 30s and 40s... It then became a rental property. It has had Taos Artworks and also the Shriver Gallery. Now it is THE TAOS ALE HOUSE. This month the family built a kitchen for the brewry and now they are serving memorable burgers and other fare... This building holds a lot of memories. If you ever go and have a beer there note you can drink just outside the front door and the old road stopped right there and that is where two gravity feed gas pumps used to be. If I can find a photo of this building as a station, Ill post it.
