This evening Hartlepool Coastguard performed a missing person search exercise in the Seaton Carew area that also doubled as Officer In Charge (OIC) training. The search brief was for a diabetic dog walker that had failed to return home at the usual time, the missing person being portrayed by team member. The team deployed along various parts of Seaton and the missing person was promptly located on Seaton Beach after an efficient and well organised search. Great exercise, great teamwork, great result!
