This fishing boat was built by Brian Woodhouse, in the back yard - TopicsExpress

This fishing boat was built by Brian Woodhouse, in the back yard of his parents home, Bill and Dulcie at 9 Simpson Street, Somerset. It was launched in 1960. You can just see the old tractor they used to drag it down over the back paddocks to the Cam River. It was floated and then taken under the Railway Bridge (the new road bridge wasnt there then) to the Wynyard wharf. The top part of it was then finished off there (it wouldnt have fitted under the bridge otherwise). It was called the Trevor John. Pictured with the boat at the Rivers edge is Trevor (Cocoa) Jacklin and Brian Woodhouse.
