This has been a busy weekend. Last night I was one of twenty five people inducted into the Tri-State Gospel Music Hall of Fame. It was a wonderful evening with great music by the Bondservants and Southern Sounds Quartet. It was also a opportunity to see some old friends and talk with them for a few minutes. I was honored and humbled to be inducted into this group and still cant believe they asked me to be a part of them. I begin to think about the fact that though I was honored to be asked, my greatest desire is to one day hear the words Well done thy good and faithful servant. I just want my life and my talents to be used to the honor and glory of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Ive been singing since I was around 4 or 5 years old and Ill go on singing as long as God gives me the strength and voice. I want all that I do to always honor Him. After all, He gave His life for me. I love Him, thats all I want to say.
