This how we were raised as Anglicans - nothing wrong with that - with a few tweeks let us go back to it - of clergy have to be trained not so much on ritual but the ability to have a sense of occasion - for Gods sake this is a drama a pantomime in which we can be lifted up from the drudgery of poor theology and patronising sermons and insipid worship that titillates me rather that worshipping in the beauty of holiness. (let me also say this sort as in picture can be exclusive , class ridden and hypocritical - that is why we need well trained clergy who are more on their knees than having the eye on the next promotion!).
