This is Goldy today. Yes, her fur is gone, but her spirit remains unbroken. She is a VERY happy dog, and I absolutely adore her fighting spirit. A few frequently asked questions; Q: Goldy moves so well, is she on any supplements? A: Yes, she is on Glyco-Flex III for her joints, and Pain + when her arthritis acts up. Q: How old is Goldy, and how long have you owned her? A: Goldy is a little over Sixteen years old, and Ive owned her since she was Two months. Q: Does Goldy get along with the Five other dogs in your pack? A: All our animals respect Goldy. Weve never had any issues with any of our dogs disrespecting Goldy. Q: Where does Goldy sleep? A: Usually, she sleeps on a crib mattress beside my bed. Right now, to prevent her from chewing on herself, she sleeps in a kennel {with her crib mattress stuffed in there} just big enough for her to move around in. For some reason, she wont chew on herself when shes in a kennel. Q: What does Goldy eat? A: I make all of her meals from scratch. Most of her meals include rice/oats, boiled chicken/fish, blended legumes and vegetables, boiled eggs, cottage cheese. Q: Does Goldy like baths? A: Goldy hates getting wet, but the warm water really soothes her joints, so shes learned to tolerate them. Q: Are there any animals Goldy doesnt get along with? A: She usually gets alone with all species, but she generally doesnt tolerate young puppies very well. They have no sense of boundaries, and they bump into Goldy a lot. Q: Whats Goldys favorite toy? A: Stuffed animals of any kind. She adores smaller stuffed animals, ones that fit in the palm of your hand, because theyre easiest for her to pick up. The fluffier the better!
