This is Henry from Parrots and Company, a Hyacinth macaw who usually presents his foot when I walk by, in the exact same way as one hails a taxi, and with the same effect, if successful. He tends to want to climb up on my shoulder, which neither I nor the owner am too happy about. The trick in this situation, should you ever find yourself beset by killer macaws, is to wobble your arm, thereby convincing them that you are not a trustworthy perch. :-)
