This is Scott ~ a homeless man in SF. I was shooting street art and he wanted to tell me a blonde joke. I ended up having a long conversation with him. He was articulate and told me about his life and how he ended up on the streets. He WANTED his photo taken and his story told. He had the most incredible blue eyes Ive ever seen. Scott just turned 40 a few months ago ~ hes trying to save enough to go back to his home state. He wanted a roast beef sandwich ~ no problem. I also gave him a dollar to buy coffee the next morning but said theres no judgement in what he uses it for. He put the dollar in his coffee pocket ~ he said he had another pocket for his beer money. My time with Scott was truly meaningful ~ I hope he gets his life back on track like he said he so badly wishes......
