This is a long but captivating documentary. I hope you will find the desire and time to watch it, you will be inspired! It features our precious niece and her family. I am proud of the courage and wisdom they have shown in their struggle. Its hard to feel any positive emotion in regard to children suffering, but the reality is that children have been born with debilitating disabilities since the beginning of time and will til the end of time. There is hope though, that these children can live better lives and that we as a society can to. That makes me happy, proud and hopeful. We are all, at some point in our existence, faced with hardship and seeking effective strategies should be an absolute right as person, as an American. So today, Day 13...I am grateful for pioneers. One of my favorite quotes is by Margaret Mead... Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, its the only thing that ever has. Hopeful for legislation that will make this happen, there isnt an email, letter, phone call, visit, etc. that I am not proud to have made!!!!
