This is a sad reality! France and other European countries are feeding fat on African resources. As I type this, about 14 African countries are still paying France for colonizing them. This has to STOP NOW! Africa would rise and achieve her full potentials when we realize that the Instability, corruption and weak leadership in Africa is not only needed by Westerners and their corporations for maximum exploitation of the continent, but it is also desired! It is very unfortunate that we dont know or chose to forget the fate that befell African leaders/nations that tried to be assertive and nationalistic. E.g. Burkina Faso (Thomas Sankara), Zimbabwe etc. Thomas Sankara was killed by France, when he was about to reposition his country for good. Zimbabwe has been on sanction because Mugabe wants Zimbabwe to be for the Zimbabweans just as Britain is for British, China is for Chinese, America is for Americans., India is for Indians etc. NB: The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is widely considered to be the richest country in the world regarding natural resources; its untapped deposits of raw minerals are estimated to be worth in excess of US$ 24 trillion. This is bigger than the economy of the whole Europe. The DRC has more than 30% of the worlds diamond reserves and 70% of the worlds coltan. Can the imperialists let them use their God-given resources to develop their land? I doubt it!
