This is a touching video. The fact that this man is wandering around my hometown of Anaheim, (my very own old neighborhood of Euclid and La Palma Ave), makes it even sadder for me. If you listen to his story at the end, you will see that many of us today are just one paycheck away from being displaced at any given time because of the society we live in today. He wasnt a drunk, or lazy, just a victim of circumstance. Sometimes it is easy to look at someone and judge or assume they are a drug addict or drunk and they are homeless because of bad choices, but more often than not it is just because of a domino effect of bad situations (loss of a job, late on rent, cant get a new job, no family to help, etc.) I hope that whomever watches this video thinks twice the next time they see a homeless person.
