This is a very good article from BikeWalk NC on balancing safety and courtesy while sharing roads with motorists. Not only balancing your safety with their convenience, but even balancing your convenience with theirs. After all, we *could* ride with adequate safety on sidewalks at 3 MPH, which would be the ultimate in convenience for motorists, but at extreme penalty to our own convenience. Wheres the line exactly?
