This is an essential point. Some argue that the Constitution was written for a different time and it no longer works for our modern society. If that is so then present the arguments and convince enough people to properly amend the Constitution. Ignoring it because it is "antiquated" is simply a despotic usurpation of power. (Those who argue that it is too hard to amend might consider it was successfully amended as recently as 1971 and 1992!) "This limited role for the federal government takes courage to embrace.
