This is from a Dad in Saratoga....Life begins with your bow:):) I just wanted to say thank you to your organization and especially to Mark Wood for the amazing work that he did with the kids in Saratoga Springs! My daughter, Elena, is in 5th grade and plays the bass. When I picked her up on Friday after rehearsal, she could not stop talking about it and the excitement in her voice was contagious! The show was amazing and energetic! The normal school concerts are enjoyable but the kids are a little timid and hold back with short bow strokes and dont really let their instruments do what they are capable of. At this show with Mark energizing the kids, I saw (especially my daughter) the kids up there full of life and energy and using nice full, powerful bow strokes and their excitement shined through in the sound and the looks on their faces Thanks to all involved and thanks to Mark for taking time out of what I am sure is a busy life to give the gift of excitement for music to our kids!!! I hope that the music department brings this program back!
