This is from my techie friend that is amazing with computers and all sorts of electronics....I copied and pasted so all of you could have the same help he gave me to fix this thing. Please read it and copy and paste to your notepad or something in case you need it. :-) if ever you have an account get compromised, follow these steps: first, assume that one or more of your devices and/or computers that you use has been infected by a virus, trojan, malware, or other nasty bit of software. scan and clean all of your devices. THEN change your passwords. remember that there is every chance that if one account log-on info has been stolen, then other accounts have also been taken, so change the passwords of ANY account (FB, emails, websites, etc) that you have recently accessed, or better yet change them ALL, just to be extra paranoid i mean extra safe . after you are sure that youve done everything you can to get clean again, put some thought into how it happened in the first place. did you click on an email link that you shouldnt have? did you visit a website that was dangerous? are you just not using protective software (anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, etc). being online is just like RL, you need to exercise common sense and protect yourself, otherwise you put yourself at unnecessary risk. we need to be better than that, otherwise we just get complacent thinking that we are safe and wont pick up any nasty stuff. its easy to be safe, and we ALL need to be safe (even the Apple-heads who incorrectly believe that they are immune.). if anyone needs suggestions on what programs to use, just ask. there are plenty of good free choices out there as well as pay programs There is always hope, and its never too late. dont give up.
