This is not a Coup! Please do not use the word! 1. A coup détat, also known as a coup, a putsch, or an overthrow, is the sudden and illegal seizure of a government. 2. The Yingluck Government had already been dissolved by her; she was further removed as acting PM by the National Anti Corruption Council (NAAC). The Thai government was effectively non existent. ( Remember? Gen. Prayuth pointedly asked several times Where is the government? I cant find them! 3. Thus there was no illegal seizure of government. Not even one shot was fired. 4. Gen. Prayuth took over the reins to ensure peace and order in the vacuum that ensued. 5. Countries, insurances and credit rating agencies that invoke a coup clause to cancel or change certain aspects of an agreement can therefore be sued, as by legal definition this is not a coup!
