This is not pretty, but it needs to be shared anyway. My silent battle for Autism continues. For those who do not know already, I am an Autistic person myself, and try my best to make no secret of it. I am extremely lucky. Not every Autistic person grew up surrounded by the level of understanding I was. 16 year-old Aaron Hill, of Okeechobee, Florida is being beaten by those who do not understand him and think his condition is a weakness, making him a lamb for the slaughter. And due to having relatives in the local police department, many of them are successfully waiving the responsibility they hold for their crass, cruel actions. I do not like this exploitation of my kind, and do what I can to put a stop to it whenever and wherever possible. Hence this is the first time I have ever used one of my online pet hates, a hashtag, and hope it will be the last. #JusticeForAaron.
