This is one of the reasons why I do not like Mark Driscoll, and you who do like him need to reconsider your support of this man. His church shamefully omitted six minutes from his Sunday sermon where he accuses Jesus of making mistakes. This heathen was even aware that his assault against our risen Lord may be deemed heretical, and yet he still went ahead and said it, even though he tries to justify it by making a distinction between sin and mistakes. Yet for those of you who think that he may be right and that he hasnt said anything insulting to our Lord make sure you meditate on John 5:19, 30. Moreover, by omitting this clip from his sermon this shows that he knew he shouldnt have gone there, and it also calls into question his integrity, and the integrity of his church for omitting a part of his sermon in order to cover up his heresy. Thankfully, this brother obtained the omitted six minutes where Driscoll insults our Lord: patheos/blogs/warrenthrockmorton/2014/05/19/mars-hill-church-deletes-mark-driscolls-teaching-on-jesus-making-mistakes/#ixzz33flJ03HL I have a strong premonition that I am going to be blocking a lot of people after this post. ;-) P.S. Sadly, other theologians and scholars have chimed in and pretty much agree with Driscoll: christianitytoday/ct/2014/june-web-only/did-jesus-make-mistakes.html. So much for the state of Evangelical Christianity! It makes me want to reconsider being associated with this branch of Christianity anymore.
