This is our 1-502 Infantry Battalion Strike Miles to Afghanistan tees. Amy and I are offering one of these Tees in a (M or L) to the friend that reports the *most miles* done for AUGUST. I will post for August miles on August 29th. Lets all pull together and show our son Tyler and his company our support while they are deployed in Afghanistan by counting your miles done monthly. Start counting August miles and earn a free t-shirt!!! If you would like to order a shirt yourself please let me know and I will send you the link or post it below, you have until August 15th to get your order mailed in! ----HERE ARE the challenge details in case you missed them before: All family & friends who walk/ride/run/row/bicycle/skate/skateboard/exercise in a gym daily/weekly (miles shopping count too!), even walking at work count and dont forget swimming. Our youngest son is deployed in Afghanistan and the unit is having a morale boosting contest between the companies to see which one will log the most miles done to reach (or surpass) our goal of 7,305 Strike Miles to Afghanistan. We will log monthly until September 6th. My son is D Company, we want to raise as many miles as we can for him and his brothers. It doesnt take a lot on your part other than reporting miles done per month at the end of each month to me or Jeffrey. RIGHT WE ARE ACCEPTING JULY MILES for JULY. The honor system is used so you can give a rough estimate while being as accurate as possible. Everything except motorized vehicle miles count. Lets show these soldiers our support!!
