This is some of the many pieces of furniture we saw in Atahalpa today approx 30 kilometers from Salinas. The fresh cut piles of lumber is the raw product and a wood shop where the furniture is built. Far cry from the furniture manufacturing at home, but some incredible well built quality and solid furniture. Example a table and 8 chairs approx 1000.00, a couch love seat , two chairs to match and coffee table approx 1500.00. These are asking prices and they expect you to haggle with the price. These are very skilled and proud people displaying there magical talents with wood.
