This is something I watched last year at Christmas time. Its a 1967 ABC television adaptation of Truman Capotes A Christmas Memory. The story is about a Christmas spent in rural Alabama around 1933 or 34 that Truman Capote (who grew up to be a very odd man) had with his older cousin played by Geraldine Page. She won an Emmy for this performance as well she should have. Capotes cousin is simple but shes a better person than a lot of people even though she steals pecans in the first scene in order to bake a cake for President Roosevelt. This is about the best 47 minutes of viewing you are going to have this week or month or year, I promise.
