This is something Ive never spoken about before in public really but something no one spoke about until Farells new black mention of it. Ive seen this mentality a lot in all my years in the music industry from minorities in the music business. Im Libertarian capitalist and was surprised to see so many minorities in the music business agree with me secretly on so many economic issues. Half were like me, almost mirroring my politics, and the other half like Tyrese here, Steve Harvey, and such where they get it from a heavy Christian perspective which Im not down with per say. But I always found these hidden political perspectives interesting. Bu Im noticing theyre all coming out now and saying it in the open. They used to not be open about it out of fear of bad PR with their own community. Wonder whats bringing this on now. Of course I agree with a lot of it, except the patriarchal moralistic stuff. But its an interesting development for sure. Maria Nieto César Vargas thoughts? Not being argumentative just really interested in ur takes on it.
