This is the puppy that the Monsters in a previous post below by Paw Protectors Rescue hung and then posted the photos of the puppy being hung on Facebook. A small, mixed-breed puppy was seized from a central Alabama couple after photos were posted on Facebook showing the puppy hanging from the ceiling, reported Tuesdays WBTW News. Investigators were alerted to the disturbing incident after the puppys owners, 26-year-old Caroline Dunnam and 23-year-old Andrew Parrish, uploaded the photos to social media; a tipster notified the authorities. On Friday, Dunnam and Parrish turned themselves in and they are now facing a charge for animal cruelty. According to WSFA News, District Attorney Michael Jackson stated: They decided that they were going to hang a dog from the ceiling by its neck. The poor dog was hanging from the ceiling with some kind of rope around its neck, What their motivation was, we dont know at this point. Its still under investigation. It was just very callous to have it posted on Facebook. I guess they thought it was a joke or something to hang a poor little dog. According to multiple sources Dunnam lashed out at the people who reacted in horror to the photo on Facebook telling them to get off her page and stating that she did not care what people thought about her. The four-month-old puppy, dubbed Timmy, is now in the care of the Selma Animal Hospital; he suffered minor injuries, including a broken tooth and he is said to be shy. The couple are out on bond.
