This is the sad but awful truth. The white man comes onto new territory and like a wildfire they spread out taking this land away from the Native Americans that were already here. Instead of assimilating into their ways of life and culture as it should have been done Native Americans were pushed and shoved until they were forced to live on reservations. The Native Americans werent savages nor hostile. They became hostile after countless treaties were broken and having their land stolen right out from under their very feet. Sometimes I cant help but wonder if life wouldve been better if the white man wouldve been more reasonable, or never came onto this land. Only God knows the answer to that one.
