This is the week of my surgery! I hope that it is the beginning of a new life. A life that I can participate in rather than watch from the sidelines. I want to thank my friends and family for all the calls, texts, prayers and cards! It has meant more to me than words can express! I ask for your prayers this week and for the weeks ahead for my recovery! I also ask that you hold my family close in your prayers as they too have gone through a lot with me and their journey is not yet over! If there is one thing I have learned over the last few months is that we need to love one another more, accept one anothers imperfections, and dont leave anything unsaid! Life is too short to miss these opportunities!
