This is what I am telling myself: Homeschooling my children is giving them space and time to enjoy being children and develop at their own pace. It is giving me time and space to nurture them and pass on the life lessons I want to equip them with. It is giving me time and space to enjoy them and enjoy watching them learn and grow and fulfil their true potential. I am expecting trials - tons of them! And moments of desperation. But I know that I will be giving them something too few children have in todays world: the chance to grow and learn in a supportive, loving, nurturing environment without the pressure of grades, tests, endless waiting, constantly being compared to their peers and being groomed for the rat race. Because that isnt why were here, no, not at all.
