This is what I just had to email to the Moreno Valley chief of police: Subject: Reckless Driving I am a resident in the hidden springs community. I live a few blocks from the elementary school and am very concerned about the "racers" who speed through our neighborhood. Almost every night/morning they do "doughnuts" behind my home (pigeon pass/top of hidden springs) waking me up or scaring my 4 yr old son. Earlier i heard one of them again doing doughnuts behind my home and when he pulled back into the neighborhood he continued to drift in front of my home almost losing control and hitting a parked vehicle,while my son was playing in the driveway! What if that car was my child!! To Say I was angry would be an understatement. There are tire marks all behind my home and now a set in front of it. My question to you is what can I do about this?! How can I stop these irresponsible drivers before they damage property or worse, hit a child?! Plate numbers, videos of the "doughnuts"? Anything I can do to make this family friendly neighborhood safer I will do!!
