This might be the case on an average European level and unfortunately this is often the unwanted side-effect of going for the cheap solution. Nevertheless this does not apply for Romanian customers which from this point of view we might even say that they are spoiled. Due to the fact that when the telecommunications companies started to develop their networks everybody was allowed to build wherever it suited them best, fiber optic networks and high speed internet is now available for almost everybody at very low prices, unlike other European countries. Especially in big cities, only in exceptional cases we will find individuals or businesses that don’t benefit from a high speed internet connection, at much higher levels that the European average. bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23079610
