This morning Alice, one of our recent arrivals from Alabama, hit the homeless doggie jackpot. She met a lovely family who drove over an hour to meet her after falling in love with her beautiful hound face on our Facebook page. Immediately upon meeting her, they knew she was every bit the kind, gentle dog they figured she would be. She warmed up to them quickly and they decided to take her into their family. So today homeless hound Alice found her forever family, but thats not the only reason she hit the doggie jackpot. Her new home sits on 5 acres, plenty of room for Alice to stretch her long legs and to run with her new brother Gunny, a 110 lb. bloodhound mix and Suncoast Animal League alum. Plus, she also has a new human teenaged brother. She got it all! Yes indeed, Alice hit the jackpot today. Yeah!
